ADXC 9 took place on April 19th, 2025 and there was plenty of elite grapplers delivering entertaining results for the fans watching. The full lineup was impressive and the promotion did a great job of finding grapplers for their youth showcase matches, all three of which ended in submissions. Davis Asare got the decision win in the first adult match of the night and Kasper Larsen got the finish with a guillotine choke in the very next bout. The next match ended in controversy unfortunately, as Robson Gracie Jr put on a gi to face Junior Orgulho and submitted him with a heel hook that resulted in a disqualification loss.
Scottish heavyweight Mark Macqueen locked up a quick but devastating short choke over the jaw of his opponent to win the next match, and the final two preliminary card bouts ended in decision. Stephanie Faure earned an impressive win over Tamara Toros and the next match was even closer, but in the end Ruan Alvarenga got the win over Yigit Hanay. The main card began immediately after that and it featured a bit of an upset straight away, as Salla Simola managed to get the decision win over Aurelie Le Vern despite both women having moments of success at different points.
Reda Mebtouche got the next decision win over Dory Aoun, leading in to the first of the night’s two co-main events. Piter Frank hit the best submission of the night, a crazy inverted triangle choke over Nicolas Renier, and Davi Vetoraci then won his grudge match with Faris Ben-Lamkadem by decision in the second co-main event. Gabriel Sousa and Anthony de Oliveira put on a show in the first main event and Sousa had the upper hand throughout, before finding the finish with an arm-triangle choke in the fourth round. Guillaume Chaine and Thibault Gouti closed the show with plenty of action across all five rounds, with Chaine getting the nod from the judges.
